Stepping Stone Learning adapts teaching to your child’s unique learning needs, helping them progress towards their learning goals,
one Stepping Stone at a time.

Sarah Cavanagh
My educational and professional background have always been led by the interest and motivation to understand and adapt to how people learn.
Both through my teaching experience and work in organizations, one thing has always been clear - people do their best work and learning when you protect and build their self-confidence creating a space where they feel safe, heard and understood.
Every session is guided by that belief. My approach with students is to start where they are and build upon that in incremental steps, helping reinforce their skills and build the confidence they need to tackle their academic challenges.

Specifically designed to support children who struggle with reading, including those diagnosed with dyslexia.

For now, these are only available in English and in-person.

These sessions are based on the child’s school curriculum and use assigned homework as the base of the sessions to reinforce what is taught in class.
Frequency is based on the child’s needs and these sessions are offered in French and English.
